Trick-or-Treat the Dory Fleet returns
to Pacific City on Oct. 31
Spooks, treats and plenty of decorated dories will give revelers a Halloween to remember when the sixth annual Trick-or-Treat the Dory Fleet docks at the Kiawanda Community Center on Saturday, Oct. 31, 5-7 p.m. Billed as a favorite local Halloween tradition, organizers say it promises an evening full of treats, creative costumes, dories, and more.
Halloween-themed activities at the event are many. They include: trick-or-treating at each decorated dory boat and collecting goodies galore; inside games, activities and a haunted tunnel; and live music by R&B artist Robert Meade, who plays originals and classics from the 60s through the 90s. Plus, sustenance of both the adult and kid-friendly variety includes complimentary hot dogs and soft drinks thanks to Nesko Women’s Club, plus beer donated by Pelican Brewing available for purchase. Proceeds of beer sales will benefit Kiawanda Community Center.
The event is hosted by the Kiawanda Community Center and sponsored by the Pacific City Dorymen’s Association with support from the Nesko Women’s Club and Pelican Brewing Co.
